Muscat, The Legal Committee of the State Council discussed today its proposal to study land laws in the Sultanate, which aims to identify the legislative challenges facing the land sector in the Sultanate and propose ways to address them.

During the 6th meeting of the Committee of the 3rd annual sitting of the 6th term under the chair of the honorable Abdul Qadir bin Salim al-Dhahab, Head of the Committee, the Committee discussed the preparation of a work program to study the proposal.

The Committee also reviewed the regulations of the State Council after the final amendments, as approved by the Council at its sixth ordinary session of the third annual sitting of the sixth term held on March 21st.

During its meeting, the Committee approved the minutes of its fourth and fifth meetings for the third annual sitting of the sixth term, in addition to reviewing its agenda and taking appropriate decisions for them
