Muscat, The National Construction Priorities seminar, organized by the Supreme Council for Planning, which is part of the national construction development strategy project, will kick off next Sunday.

The two-day seminar discusses the construction status in the Sultanate, the challenges facing construction development and the aspirations of the sectors and organization involved in construction development.

The participants at the panel discussions discuss a number of projects and key issues at the national strategy, such as environment and food security, management of natural resources, transport and economy from spatial perspective.

The seminar aims at coming out with a number of national priorities for construction that will contribute to building scenarios and alternatives for development in the Sultanate. The outcomes will be tested before being presented for discussion at the national seminar at the third quarter of this year.

Representative of the public, private sectors, entrepreneurs, local communities, academicians and urban planning researchers will take part in the Forum.
