Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al- Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Council of Ministers today received Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco, Chairman of the Moroccan side in the Omani-Moroccan Joint Committee.

The Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation conveyed the greetings of King Mohammed VI of Morocco to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said and his good wishes of success to His Majesty and for the Omani people further development and prosperity.

After welcoming the guest, Sayyid Fahd praised the strong relations, between the two countries, based on brotherly ties and both wise leadership keenness to achieve all that is good and beneficial to the two brotherly peoples.

During the meeting, the two sides touched on the growing bilateral relations and ways of promoting the work of the Omani-Moroccan Joint Committee, in addition to encouraging the private sector in both sides to carry out its role in the areas of investment. They also reviewed a number of current issues on the regional and international arenas.

Sayyid Fahd requested the guest to convey the greetings of His Majesty the Sultan along with his Majesty brothery wishes to King Mohammed VI and the brotherly Moroccan people further progress and development.

The meeting was attended by Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs and Tariq al-Hassaissan, accredited Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Sultanate.
