Muscat, Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq al- Said, Deputy
Prime Minister for Relations and International Cooperation Affairs and
Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan
returned home this evening from the Lebanese capital Beirut after
leading the Sultanate’s delegation that took part in the Fourth Arab
Economic and Social Development Summit.
He was received upon his with his accompanying delegation by
Sheikh Abdul Malik bin Abdullah bin Ali al-Khalili, Minister of justice,
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Zahir al-Hinai, State Advisor and
Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al-Busaidi, Secretary-General of
the Foreign Ministry.
Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq al- Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Relations
and International Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of
His Majesty the Sultan was accompanied by an official delegation that
included Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for
Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ali bin Masoud al-Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce
and Industry, Badr bin Mohammed al-Mantheri, Sultanate’s
Ambassador to the Lebanese Republic, Khalifa bin Hamad al- Badi,
Advisor at Sayyid Asa’ad’s Office, Saif bin Ahmed al- Sawafi, Advisor at
Sayyid Asa’ad’s Office, Dr. Ali bin Ahmed al- Easai, Sultanate’s
Ambassador accredited to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its
Permanent Representative at the Arab League, Hafidh bin Salim Ba
Omar , Head of the International Cooperation Department at the
Foreign Ministry and a number of officials.
