Muscat, Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq al- said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan returned home this evening from the Arab Republic of Egypt after he led the Sultanate’s delegation participating in the first Arab-European Summit, held in the City of Sharm El-Sheikh on February 24th and 25th.
Sayyid Asa’ad and his accompanying delegation were received on their return to the country by Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed al-Salmi, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed al-Shabibi, Minister of Housing, Sayyid Saud bin Hilal al-Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, Ahmed bin Nasser al-Mahrzi, Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Ahmed Fahmi Ghoneim, appointed Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Sultanate and Saif bin Mohammed al-Abri, Secretary General of Sayyid Asa’ad’s Office.
The Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and the Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan was accompanied by a delegation that included Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al- Busaidi, Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed al- Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications, Dr. Fuad bin Jaafar al- Sagwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Dr. Ali bin Ahmed al- Isaie, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Khalifa bin Hamad al-Badi and Saif bin Ahmed al-Sawafi, the advisers in the Office of Sayyid Asa’ad, and a number of officials.
