Beirut, Deliberations of the 4th Arab Economic
Summit, hosted by the Lebanese Republic, began at the capital Beirut
today.
The Sultanate’s delegation to the summit is being led by Sayyid
Asa’ad bin Tariq al-Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International
Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His
Majesty the Sultan.
The summit discusses several files, mostly economic, including the
Arab free trade zone, Arab food security and strategies of the
sustainable energy. These files are development initiatives and projects
that target the Arab human through investment, and achieving peace
and prosperity.
