Salah Al-Din Operations Command begins implementing a security operation in Al-Aith area

The Salah Al-Din Operations Command began implementing a security operation in Al-Aith area of the governorate.

The Joint Operations Command said in a statement today, Monday, “The units of the Salah Al-Din Operations Command carried out, in cooperation with the Anti-Terrorism Service and the Popular Mobilization Forces, and with the support of the Air Force Falcons, Army Aviation, the military engineering class, the heroes, detachments, and technical resources of the Military Intelligence Directorate, they began implementing a security operation to search Al-Eith area across several axes.”

The Operations Command explained in its statement that the security operation resulted in the destruction of 9 terrorist hideouts and the discovery of 6 explosive devices and 4 82 mm mortar bombs, which were destroyed by the engineering effort.

The Operations Command affirmed in its statement that “the pre-emptive operations and intensification of intelligence efforts had a clear impact in curbing the terrorist elements and purifying the land of tampering, as they succeeded in cordoning off the movement of the terrorist elements and eradicating them.
