SAF Museum Opens for Public on AF Day

Muscat, On the occasion of the Armed Forces Day, which falls on December 11th every year, the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) Museum will be open for free on Tuesday for citizens and residents from 7.30 am to 1.30 pm. It will be also opened for the public for five days from December 18th to 23rd between 8 am to 5 pm.

The SAF museum military and other items on display reflect the progress of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and the Royal Care extended by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces to SAF corps as seen in the various manuscripts, models and weapons depicting the deep-rooted military history of Oman. This comes in a bid to highlight the great role played by SAF Museum and its historic, cultural and military contributes as it displays the Omani achievements at the different epochs.
