Muscat, The Royal Hospital organized today a

press conference to unveil details of the “2nd International Conference

of Royal Hospital” at the main conferences room of the Hospital in the

presence of Dr. Muhanna bin Suliman Al-Musalhi, Assistant Director-

General for Allied Medical Affairs in the Royal Hospital along with Dr.

Basim bin Jafar Al-Bahrani, Chairman of Organizing Committee of the

Conference.

The 2nd International Conference will be held during April 11th till

14th at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The three-day Conference aims at discussing the latest

development of treatment and diagnosis in various medical

specializations, highlighting the latest technologies and medical

devices, as well as exchanging experiences and opinions on improving

the quality of healthcare.

A number of medical and administrative staff working in the health

field from the Sultanate and abroad will attend the Conference. In

addition, the number of attendees in the International Conference is

expected to reach about 2000 participants along with 350 lecturers.

The 2nd International Conference will include 118 scientific sessions

in different medical specializations, such as anesthesia, critical care for

adults, pediatric, internal medicine, oncology, nursing, nuclear

medicine, radiology, obstetrics and gynecology, pharmacology and

medical drug stores.

Furthermore, the Conference will also highlight the surgery (general

surgery, tumors surgery, urology), hyperbaric medicine, accidents &

emergency, medical laboratories (histopathology), heart diseases,

quality & patient safety, legal affairs and labor care.
