Muscat, The rainfall monitoring stations of the
Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources recorded the
highest rainfall in the Governorate of A’Dakhiliyah with (29 mm) in the
Wilayat of Sumail due to the rains witnessed in several wilayats of the
Sultanate during the period from February 3rd to the 5th because of
the low air groove.
The Governorate of Muscat reported (18 mm) in the Wilayat of
Quriyat, (13 mm) in the Governorate of North A’Sharqiyah (the Wilayat
of Al Mudhaibi, (8 mm) in the Governorate of South A’Sharqiyah, the
Wilayat of Sur, (7mm) in the Governorate of Musandam, the Wilayat of
Khasab, (5mm) in the Governorate of Al Buraimi, in the Wilayat of Al
Buraimi, (2mm) in the Governorate of North Al Batinah, the Wilayat of
Shinas, (2mm) in the Governorate of A’Dhahira, the Wilayat of Ibri.
In the Governorate of North A’Sharqiyah, Wadis of Al Misfat and Dima
Wa Al Taieen saw low flow of water , and Al A’mirat Dam seized (0.8
million cubic meters).
