Barcelona, Negotiations between Barcelona

and Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) Adrien Rabiot are in the advanced

stages, with both clubs reportedly in agreement over a transfer fee for

the central midfielder.

The French international’s future at the Parc des Princes had

been cast into doubt after the Ligue 1 champions reportedly failed to

meet the player’s economic and sporting demands, and coach Thomas

Tuchel allegedly telling the playmaker that a starting spot was no

guarantee in the star-studded outfit.

With a year left to run on his current contract, PSG are reportedly

prepared to allow Rabiot to leave, with this summer’s transfer window

presenting itself as the final opportunity to cash in on the player.

As such, French publication Le Parisien report that Rabiot’s

move to Barcelona has been sanctioned by the French club’s

hierarchy, the Spanish MARCA newspaper reported.
