Muscat, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser al-Harrasi, Chairman of the Public Authority for Radio and Television (PART) met in his office today with Guo Weimin, Vice Minister of the State Council Information Office of China.
The two sides reviewed avenues of the existing cooperation between PART and Chinese media institutions, besides discussing opportunities of expanding and promoting cooperation through exchanging media expertise, training and technology.
The meeting also reviewed the development witnessed by the Omani media product, represented in the Sultanate's radio and TV, in addition to discussing the expansion to nine radio and TV channels.
On his turn, the Chinese guest commended the Omani-Chinese deep relations via the time, hailing the rapid development witnessed in various spheres of the Sultanate's modern renaissance. He underlined the Omani wise approach being pursued by the Sultanate, which made it an oasis of security, stability and a global school of peace.
