Cairo, Sheikha Ayesha bint Khalfan bin Jumiel al- Siyabiyah, Chairperson of the Public Authority for Craft Industries (PACI) and chairperson of the 8th session of the Executive Council of the Arab Woman Organization (AWO) and her accompanying delegation visited today AWO premises in Cairo. She was received by Dr. Fadia Kiwan, Director General of the AWO and Dr. Malika al- Srookh, Deputy Director General.

The visit comes within the framework of consultant about the preparations for the 7th AWO’s conference under the theme ‘ economic empowerment of women and enhancing peace, justice and citizenship values’, scheduled to be held in the Sultanate in December 2018.

‘ AWO serves as a platform for the joint Arab work related to woman issues and highlighting the challenges facing woman in general to develop an Arab strategy to improve the status of Arab woman, said PACI Chairperson while touring the new premises of AWO.
