Muscat, The number of industrial and commercial, intellectual property, standards and specifications transactions that has been received by the Directorate of Commerce and Industry in the Governorate of A’Dakhiliyah in 2017 stood at 15,751.
Abdullah bin Saif al-Shandodi, Director of Commerce and Industry Administration in the Governorate of A’Dakhiliyah said that the number of applications for commercial registrations of all types stood at 6772. The number of commercial registration applications processed through ‘Sanad’ Offices in the Governorate of A’Dakhiliyah stood at 5149. He pointed out that the field visit reports for the petrol stations and LPG cylinders stores stood at 178.
“The number of industrial licensed transactions in 2017 stood at 377 compared to 311 transactions for intellectual property and trade-marks, and 2964 transactions by the Specifications Department at the Governorate of A’Dakhiliyah”, he added.
“Most custom duty exemption transactions are processed electronically through ‘Bayan’ system. The standard specifications are also sold electronically through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Standard Specification Online Store,” he explained
