Nairobi, The Omani Product Exhibition (OPEX) 2018, which is being held in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, has seen wide turnout by a large number of ambassadors from brotherly and friendly countries, businessmen and various segments of Kenyan society.
The visitors expressed their admiration for the Omani products and their high quality, praising the good organization of the exhibition and looking forward to its continuation on an annual basis.
Jaber Ali al- Dowsery, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Kenya praised the quality of the products and industries showcased by the Omani companies participating in the Omani products exhibition “OPEX 2018”, stressing that the Sultanate is active in the process of setting up exhibitions in different countries of the world.
“The Kenyan market is one of the fastest growing markets in Africa and is associated with many other African markets,” he told Oman News Agency (ONA). He highlighted the importance of having trade offices for the marketing and promotion of Omani and Gulf companies to learn about the needs and opportunities of the market.
The exhibition aims at Familiarising the Kenyan people with the quality of the Omani products and inviting businessmen in the Republic of Kenya to meet with the officials and representatives of the Omani companies participating in the exhibition to discuss the possibility of establishing trade relations and partnerships and opening marketing outlets for their products in both countries, which will enhance economic and trade relations between both countries.
