A’RUSTAQ, Oman, Oman LNG signed an agreement for the “Innovation, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Technology Centre,” at the General Directorate of Education, in the Governorate of South Al Batinah, which is being established during the academic year 2018/2019.

The agreement was signed by Hamad bin Khalfan al-Rashdi, Director General of the Directorate General of Education, in the Governorate, South Al Batinah, and Rashid bin Abdullah al-Nasri, Acting CEO of Oman LNG Company, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.

The agreement comes within the framework of a partnership, between the private sector and the government’s educational institutions, for the development of members of society and work to increase the efficiency of learning, in addition to providing teaching devices and scientific tools.

The project includes furnishing and supplying various devices, tools, and service facilities, in two halls, for scientific innovations, robotics and artificial intelligence, in the Wilayat of A’Rustaq.
