Muscat, Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry

(OCCI) hosted an Iranian trade delegation at its HQs’ in Muscat. The

delegation is led by Rahim Benamulaye, Chairman of Al Borz Chamber

of Commerce, and Ali Ashqar Zabardash, President of Hamdan

Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber is hosting the Iranian delegation in order to enhance

the relations between the Sultanate and Iran in the industrial,

investment and economic sectors, to develop the trade exchange

between the two friendly countries and work on establishing trade and

investment partnerships that will develop the business sector.

On the sidelines of the hosting, bilateral meetings were held between

Omani businessmen and business women and their Iranian

counterpart, in order to learn about experiences and benefit from them

in the field of business development of the private sector.

The delegation included 40 Iranian multi-disciplinary companies

including food, contracting, petrochemicals, craft industry and oil

industry.
