Muscat, The National Committee for Civil

Defence (NCCD) today held a meeting under the chair of Lt.Gen

Hassan bin Mohsen al-Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and

Customs, NCCD Chairman.

The NCCD reviewed impacts caused by the tropical condition that

hit the Sultanate during the previous days, as well as the efforts

exerted by all public and private institutions, citizens and residents at

the level of the Sultanate.

The Committee praised the major cooperation of citizens and

residents, as well as the noticeable response to the instructions, which

limited the damages.

The NCCD affirmed that the efforts are exerted by all sectors of

the National System for Emergency Situations Management to repair

damages and restore things to normality as fast as possible.
