Mwasalat to Launch Al Athaiba-Boushar Route

Muscat, Oman National Transport Company

(“Mwasalat”) will launch Al Athaiba-Boushar Route (12B) in the

Governorate of Muscat this Friday as part of its efforts to provide a

sustainable and convenient public transport network.

The new route will be a link between a number of important places

in the Governorate of Muscat as it passes through some of the colleges

and health institutions that are regularly frequented by the general

public. The course of the route is as follows: (starting from Al Athaiba

station � Al Athaiba Bridge – Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque � Royal

Hospital � Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex – Baushar “Pedestrian

Bridge” – College of Financial Banking – Modern College of Commerce

and Science � Oman Medical College – Muscat Private Hospital –

Muscat College – Boushar. The bus will then follow the same path to

the starting point.

Mwasalat will operate its buses on the new route (round trip) at a bus

rate of every 30 minutes from 6 am on weekdays and public holidays.
