MSM Loses 5 Points

Muscat, Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general

index (30) today lost (5.85) points, comprising a decline by (0.13%) to

close at (4497.64) points, compared to the last session, which stood at

(4503.49) points.

The trading value today stood at (RO 2,169,384), comprising a rise

by (72.1%), compared to the last session, which stood at (RO

1,260,695).

The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value

dropped by (0.003%) to reach about (RO 18.40) billion.

The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani

investors reached (RO 1,159,000), comprising (53.44%). The value of

shares sold by non-Omani investors reached (RO 927,000), comprising

(42.75%). The net non-Omani investment rose by (10.69%) to (RO

232,000).
