Muscat, A delegation from Moody’s Corporation
today visited the State Council as part of its current visit to the
Sultanate to review the latest developments in its financial and
economic performance in the context of Moody’s program to assess the
credit status of the Sultanate annually.
The delegation was received by Dr. Said bin Mubarak al-Mahrami,
member of the Economic Committee of the Council, and Altaf bint
Omar al-Marhoon, Assistant Secretary-General for Information and
Research Center Affairs.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues
related to enhancing the economic performance of the Sultanate,
especially in the field of investment and attracting investors in light of
the potentials enjoyed by the country, including the industrial and
economic cities, which provide a package of incentives for investors.
