Muscat, Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib al-Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs today paid an inspection visit to the National Defence College (NDC). He was received upon his arrival at NDC headquarters at Mua’askar Beit Al Falaj by Maj.Gen Salim bin Musallam Qatan, NDC Commandant and a number of NDC senior officers.
Sayyid al-Busaidi was briefed on the parallel programs that the college plans to implement during the current year 2019, as part of the ongoing modernization programs of the College in the preparation and rehabilitation of military and civilian leaders at the strategic level in the fields of security and defence.
The Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs visited NDC exhibition which included some pictures that reflect the academic activities and the visits paid by the Sultanate’s senior guests to the college. He also visited the new training facilities which included a hall for parallel programs and another hall for the national defence course program.
During his visit to the National Defence College, Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib al-Busaidi was accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, Chairman of NDC Board of Directors, Corps commanders and members of NDC Council.
