Madrid, With the new Premier League rule in
place that will prevent English clubs signing players 48 hours before
the start of the new campaign, it is set to have an impact on the
possibility of a move by Eden Hazard from Chelsea to Real Madrid.
Premier League clubs will not be able to bring in new players,
but other European sides will still be able to sign them and so Chelsea
are aware that if after that date Hazard did leave, then they would not
be able to replace him.
Hazard appears keen to force his departure from recent
comments made in the Belgium media and put in a transfer request.
It is being reported in England that Roman Abramovich has put
a figure of 220 million euros on the player although Real are not ready
to pay that much.
The club are aware that he is now more in demand after a strong
World Cup, but at the same time he has just two years left on his
contract and is unlikely to sign a new deal, the Spanish MARCA
newspaper reported.
