Muscat, The Ministry of Labour today launched the experts’ program named ‘Khibrat Program’ for the year 2021 to enhance job skills under the patronage of Sheikh Nasr Amer al-Hosni, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour. The program targets 1000 male and female job seekers; holders of general education diploma, higher diploma and university degrees.
The program comes in line with Oman Vision 2040 and with the Strategic Objective III (Priority of the labour market and employment), as well as the strategic approach to launch a set of national programs to train and qualify job seekers with the aim of enhancing their employment opportunities.
Sayyid Salim Musallam al-Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour for Human Resources Development said, “The program will start receiving applications for the first batch of 2021 in January. Khibrat program will stimulate thought and build an independent personality, with a focus on teamwork and harmony with others to build a work environment based on cooperation and improving collective performance”.
Khibrat program aims to develop and enable graduates to acquire job skills in various sectors and building high-capacity national competencies to enhance their competitiveness at the local and global level.
