Interior Minister Heads to Riyadh

Muscat, In a bid to promote fraternal relations and

joint cooperation between the Sultanate and the sisterly Kingdom of

Saudi Arabia (KSA), Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al-Busaidi, Minister of

Interior left here today heading to Riyadh in response to an official

invitation from Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef al-Saud, KSA

Minister of Interior, to attend the meeting of highest border authorities

between the two countries.

The Interior Minister is accompanied by a delegation comprising Eng.

Khalid bin Hilal al-Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior,

Mohammed bin Yousef al- Zarafi, Undersecretary of the Foreign

Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Maj-Gen Hamad bin

Sulaiman al-Hatmi, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs

for Operations, Abdullah bin Aqeel al-Ibrahim, Advisor at the Office of

the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar, Sheikh Saif bin Himyar Al

Malik al-Shehi, Governor of A’Dhahirah, and a number of senior

officials from the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of

Legal Affairs and Royal Oman Police.
