Muscat, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message from President Ibrahim Mohammed Saleh of the Republic of Maldives.

The message deals with bilateral relations and means of promoting them in various spheres.

It was handed over to Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi when he received in his office today Envoy of the President of Maldives Abdullah Shahid, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting underlined the cooperation in all fields between the two countries. It also discussed the regional and international developments.

The meeting was attended by Khalid Hashil Al Muselhi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department, Mohammed Khalil, non-resident Ambassador of Maldives to the Sultanate of Oman and several officials from both sides.
