Muscat, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of congratulations to Shehbaz Sharif on being sworn in as the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere sentiments and best wishes of success to Prime Minister Sharif to achieve aspirations of the people of Pakistan towards further progress and prosperity. His Majesty also wished the relations between the two countries further development and welfare.
