Madrid: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has conveyed his condolences to King Felipe VI of Spain following the catastrophic floods that have struck Valencia in Eastern Spain.

According to Oman News Agency, the cable from His Majesty expressed heartfelt sympathies to King Felipe VI, the families of those affected, and the people of Spain. His Majesty also extended wishes for the success of rescue and recovery efforts and a swift recovery for the injured.
