Manama, A delegation from the Department of

External Scholarships at the Ministry of Higher Education visited the

Kingdom of Bahrain to follow up with the Omani students studying in

the Arab Gulf University and the Royal College of Surgeons in the

Kingdom of Bahrain.

The visit discussed the mechanism of registration for the coming

years in the two institutions, and listen to the suggestions and views of

the specialists in this regard, as well as the most important plans and

regulations used to serve the dispatched students, including updating

the admission requirements for both institutions.

Yousef bin Musabah al-Shabibi, an official at the Department of

External Scholarships said that the total number of Omani students

studying at the Arab Gulf University and the Royal College of Surgeons

until the academic year 2018/2019 was 78 students, all of whom are

studying medicine.

The visit comes within the framework of the Ministry’s efforts to

develop mechanisms of work and cooperation between them and the

destinations of external scholarship.
