Muscat, The Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Ministry of Education conducted a meeting at the MOH headquarters to discuss the preparations undertaken to vaccinate general education diploma (GED) students, as well as the teaching, and administrative staff according to decisions of the Covid-19 Supreme Committee.

The meeting touched on the process of vaccinating students, examination observers, examination graders, and administrators with emphasis on complying with protective measures.

During the meeting, it was agreed to work on several mechanisms including electronic registration for all students via the Tarassud Plus application, noting that the date of registration will be announced later.

The vaccine is necessary for 12th-grade students who will receive scholarships to study abroad as many countries require getting the Covid-19 vaccine. Therefore, the two ministries urge all parents to encourage their sons and daughters to take the vaccine.
