Madrid, The UEFA Super Cup takes place in

Tallinn in Estonia on 15 August, 2018, which will be exactly one month

after Antoine Griezmann and France won the World Cup final in

Moscow.

Despite the short time between these two dates, Griezmann is

keen to take part in that match against Real Madrid and to add a fourth

medal to his collection, one which has tripled in that past couple of

months with his Europa League and World Cup wins.

First, though, the Frenchman will have 21 days of holiday, like

the rest of the Atletico Madrid players, so he should return on 6 August

and then have under two weeks to try to regain match fitness ahead of

the Estonian Madrid derby.

Part of his holiday has already been spent celebrating the world

title, as he joined in the festivities with the team on the streets of Paris,

while he’ll return to his hometown of Macon this week.

There, he’ll join in the L’esplanade Lamartine festival and will be

presented on the balcony to his hometown.

On top of that, he has been invited to Uruguay by president

Tabare Vazquez, who was so impressed by the 27-year-old’s gesture

after the final, when he donned a Uruguayan flag in the post-match

press conference.

For now, his thoughts are on continuing his World Cup

celebrations and on relaxing after a long year, before he returns to

work in Madrid, where he’ll initially train alone given that his fellow

Rojiblancos will be in Bruneck, the Spanish MARCA newspaper

reported.
