Muscat, The Government Communication Centre (GC) today organized the 16th government communication meeting, which brings together operators of communication and media departments of government units.

The meeting was attended by Mohammed Said Al Balushi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information for Radio and Television.

The meeting reviewed best practices in managing social media accounts of organizations. This comes within the role of GC in enhancing the abilities of staff in departments of communication and media in various government units by enabling them in actively engaging with social media platforms. It also aims to enable staff in achieving quality access to the target audiences within the government’s visions and strategic goals.

The meeting also highlighted the standards of successful digital content creation and best practices in safely using social media platforms, among other topics.
