In an issued statement Sunday by the Press Office of Interior and Municipalities Minister, Brigadier General Mohamed Fahmi, it indicated that “as tomorrow marks the start of the first stage of mitigation of measures previously adopted to limit the spread of the Corona virus, and in order to ensure citizens’ wellbeing and succeed in implementing all the stages of the return to normal life, all citizens are urged to adhere to public safety measures and to wear a mask while they are outside their homes.”

“In the event that the masks are not available to citizens, they can be obtained from the security forces who will be distributing them at checkpoints; otherwise, they can use a paper cloth to cover their nose and mouth area in order to preserve their safety,” the statement added.
