Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly affirmed that the Iraqi-Egyptian relations are historical and rooted.

He said in a joint press conference with Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani that presenting the budget would reflect positively on the Iraqi-Egyptian relations.

He stressed that Egypt stands with Iraq in confronting terrorism.

For his part, Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani announced that the meeting of the Iraqi-Egyptian Supreme Committee ended with the signing of 11 memorandums of understanding.

Al-Sudani stressed the need to implement the signed memorandums of understanding.
