The Middle East and North Africa Region Entrepreneurship Conference kicked off today in the University of Nizwa.
The event is organized by the university in cooperation with the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED), Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Ibri and the Royal University for Women of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy.
As many as 80 researchers and specialists in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation from 20 countries are taking part in the activities of the conference. In addition to entrepreneurs from Oman.
The conference discusses a spectrum of topics, such as the future of entrepreneurship in the Middle East and North Africa region, entrepreneurial experiments of participating countries and the importance of research in supporting entrepreneurship, among other topics.
