Muscat, Over the first 9 months of this year (2022), the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion received 8734 applications for national and international trademarks and patents.
The applications included 8,044 ones for national and international trademarks, 505 applications for patents, 87 applications for intellectual items claimed as copyrights, 13 applications for industrial design and 85 applications for usufruct license.
