An Economist: Working power stations in the simple cycle is a waste of money

The Specialist in Economic Affairs, Durgham Muhammad Ali, called on the government to allocate sufficient amounts of the budget to transfer power stations to the full cycle.

Muhammad Ali said in a statement to the Iraqi National News Agency (NINA) that "simple cycle power stations need a full cycle phase to reduce harmful emissions and double benefit from the dry gas that operates these stations."

The specialist continued, "Leaving all Iraq's stations operating in the simple cycle is a waste of money and the operational energy of the stations."
