Muscat, The Future Vision Office Oman 2040 today concluded the “All Oman” initiative, which has toured all governorates of the Sultanate since its launch on last March 25th to May 7th. The citizens of the Governorate of Muscat will meet to take part in forming the future vision at Oil and gas Institute in Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).

The event was attended by Sayyid Saud bin Hilal al- Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, Walis, honorable members of the State Council, members of Majlis A’Shura, citizens of all segments of the society and a large number of citizens wishing to contribute to the preparation and development of Oman Vision 2040.

The proceedings of the initiative started with the public session, a dialogue session with the people of the governorate with the participation of experts and representatives of the committees of Oman Vision 2040.

The session dealt with the issues of vision in an open dialogue session with the participants to express their opinions, aspirations and ideas for the future of the governorate in particular and the future of the Sultanate in general.

It is worth noting that the “All Oman” initiative aims to promote a participatory approach in which all segments of society participate in the formulation and preparation of the future vision.

The Oman Vision 2040 Office implements a number of communication initiatives aimed at reaching all segments of the society and its sectors, and involves them in formulating and developing the vision for the future of Oman 2040 to come out with the preliminary document that all segments of society will contribute in its preparation, ending in the national conference that will crown the document at the local, regional and global levels.
