The Board of Directors of Al Raffd Fund held its first meeting of the year under the chair of Dr. Ali bin Masoud al-Sunaidy, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board.
The Board reviewed the Fund’s loan portfolio statistics until the end of February 2018. The Fund financed (1951) loans since the beginning of the Fund’s work in all governorates of the Sultanate, including various economic sectors, with amounts exceeding RO76 million, providing 3326 direct jobs for Omani youth, (67%) for males, and (33%) for females, and indirect job opportunities in the service and logistics sectors.
At the end of the meeting, the Board stressed the support of projects in the promising sectors, which are the gateway to a diversified national economy and seek to enrich the SMEs sector in the Sultanate.
