The religious authority Bashir Hussein Al-Najafi said that he is following developments in the water file in Iraq, stressing that cutting off water from Turkey is a violation of humanity.
During his meeting with a delegation of university professors who are experts and specialized in water and desertification issues, he stressed with the delegation of the Hussein Shrine the importance of water and its impact on people’s lives, and the need for governmental and university institutions to take Their role in facing the next stage and its dangerous challenges for the country.
Al-Najafi indicated that cutting off water from Turkey is a violation of humanity, and that he is closely following developments in matters.
He listened to the visions presented by the delegation regarding the water situation in Iraq.
