Muscat— The international conference on artificial intelligence (AI) began today on the sidelines of the Comex 2022 technology exhibition.

The event highlights the capabilities of AI in the digital transformation of various industries.

The conference was held under the patronage of Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology.

It included a celebration to mark the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, which comes this year under the theme “Digital Technologies for Older Persons and Healthy Ageing.”

During this event, several senior people were honored for their role in utilizing technologies in various health and psychology areas during the Covid-19 pandemic.
