Sohar, Jusoor today announced its projects in the
social investment for the current year worth RO2.700.000 within the
social responsibility program of the companies of Orpic, Sohar
Aluminum and Vale which will be implemented in the Governorates of
North Al Batinah, A’Dhahirah, Al Buraimi and Muscat.
This came during a press conference held today in the presence of
Sheikh Mohana bin Saif al-Lamki, Governor of North Al Batinah,
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company and a number of
officials of the three companies, founders of Jusoor.
Sheikh Mohana bin Saif al-Lamki explained that the 2019 Plan of
Action will include the implementation of 14 social projects in the fields
of education, environment, health, culture and entrepreneurship co-
financed by Orpic, Sohar Aluminum and Vale, in cooperation with a
number of government agencies directly involved in each project.
He pointed out that Jusoor is keen in this year to expand its
contribution to sustainable development projects and to work to
achieve greater benefit among the various segments of society in the
various governorates of the Sultanate.
