Tehran, An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the
Richter scale hit the western province of Kermanshah in Iran.
The seismological center of the Geophysical Institution of Tehran
University said today that the quake occurred last night at a depth of
12 km from the surface of the earth.
The center said in a statement that the quake occurred about 15 km
from the town of (Taza). The centre stressed that so far no news of
human or material damage caused by the quake.
